Spoilers for 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' Season 7 Episode 8 'Together Again'.

Another week, another episode of 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' Season 7 to break the quarantine blues, no matter how briefly. Things have been a bit slow for the show's final season in the last couple of episodes but Episode 8 'Together Again' picks up in a big way.

With the reveal that Darth Maul (Sam Witwer) was the mastermind behind the Pyke spice operation, fans are finally happy. Not because it was unexpected (literally everyone saw it coming) but because he is easily one of the most popular characters in the franchise.

Plus, with Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) recruiting Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein) in the episode to help free Mandalore, we are now officially running parallel to 'Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith'.

Here are some of the reactions from the discussion thread for this episode on the r/StarWars subreddit:

"Maul returns," one fan wrote. "And with him the start of the Crimson Dawn. I can already see some parallels manipulating with him pitting different parts of his collective against each other with Palpatine's past manipulations. Overall this episode is the strongest of the arc and the most substantial to the plot of the next."

Another fan commented, "While I appreciate the world-building and getting perspectives on normal civilians who don't view the Jedi in the brightest light, I don't like how it took 3 episodes of the FINAL season for us to basically have Ahsoka be recruited for the Siege of Mandalore."

"It's soooo good to hear Maul's voice again, especially after the fairly 'blah' arc that we've had," another fan noted. "Sam Witwer steals the scene like few others can."

It also appears a large chunk of the fans were overjoyed to see the Martez sisters, Trace (Brigitte Kali) and Rafa (Elizabeth Rodriguez), finally exit the show after a much-criticized run in the last three episodes.

"I actually felt the fandom breathe a giant f***ing sigh of relief seeing Ahsoka finally leaving Trace & Rafa behind with the conclusion of this arc," one fan wrote.

"Wait.... did we just go through 3 pretty pointless episodes of the sister to then never see them again until Ashoka comes to collect her bike?" Another fan said. "Don't get me wrong I'm glad they're gone but it just makes it more stupid why they were in the show."

In any case, now that this arc is over, it's time to enter the final story of the last season of 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars'. And despite the rough patches, we're so very excited to get to the real action again.

New episodes of 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' Season 7 arrive Fridays on Disney Plus.
