Spooky CCTV footage shows hospital worker giving directions to 'ghost patient' who died the day before

When the man later checked where the person he saw had gone, he was shocked to learn that no one actually came to see a doctor

BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA: A very spooky video has gone viral on the internet showing a hospital worker assisting an 'invisible' patient. The incident apparently happened early morning on November 11 at the Finochietto Sanatorium in Buenos Aires, Argentina, when a security guard rose from his chair at the reception while appearing to welcome a ghost. He is also seen guiding the unseen individual somewhere.

However, when the unidentified staff eventually went to check where the person had gone, he was reportedly shocked to learn that no one ever came to see a doctor. Besides, the name the guard claimed to have registered belonged to a woman who died a day ago.

An eerie CCTV clip shows what unfolded on November 11 at around 3.30 am. The hospital employee is seen “getting up from his chair as if to greet someone at the door before letting them into the lobby,” The Sun reported. The publication also stated that the guard was then seen talking to the invisible individual and also asking if they needed a wheelchair. However, later, he left the chair where it was kept and went back to his seat.

A spokesperson for the hospital has dismissed the ghost theory, claiming the matter has been probed. As reported by The Mirror, they said, “It is the door to one of the entrances that is open after hours, it is the entrance to see the duty doctor. As it was broken, it opened by itself 28 times during the 10 hours between Thursday night and Friday early morning. There is no entry record of any person at that time. This gentleman pretends to be writing something, but when you go to the registry, no one appears.”

The spokesman explained, “No one entered and no one was registered either. But everything is under investigation,” before adding, “People are born and die every day in this sanatorium, so it is very difficult to relate this episode to any death. But it is ruled out, first of all because we do not have the name of the person who supposedly enters, since the man seen in the image did not write anything.”

The spooky video attracted a lot of attention online as a person tweeted, “This guy must have been high on something; how can you just walk a ‘ghost’ thru the door?” Another suggested, “Check the hospital's locked medicine cabinet which was probably broken into. This guy likely broke into it.”

“He is most likely on a night shift and messing around because the door randomly opened 😂” someone else said. Another asked, “Are you sure he’s not under the influence….” “They could be wearing that new invisible material if we cant see anyone how come he can see them?” a third wondered while a fourth added, “Must have overdosed on spirits..”
