‘Spoiled Brats’ Ending Explained: Did Stella, Philippe, and Alexandre become better people?
Francis puts up a plan to take his children to his old home. However, we know why he is doing it. A few moments earlier, we see every child panicking because their cards have been blocked and everything they had was getting out of their hands. We get to know that the police are looking after all members of the Bartek family because they feel they have been doing fraud in the name of their company.
They hide in the old house with no money and no food. Francis is doing all this because he wants his children to see the real world and how it works. He tells them to find a job if they need to have food. Stella goes to a restaurant to work as a waitress, all thanks to one of his friends. Meanwhile, Artus is now driving a tuk-tuk and trying to earn money. On the other hand, Alexandre tries finding a job but doesn’t get one. While at work, a man visiting the restaurant talks rudely with Stella, and she starts crying in the kitchen. She tells her friend that she is leaving the job because the person sitting on one of the tables talked really rudely with her.
To which, her friend replies, that she used to talk the same way when she had money and welcomes her to the real world. He makes her realize how others must have felt when she used to be rude to people who were not as fortunate as her. On the other hand, Artus is being bullied by a man at his workplace who keeps on taking his clients. Elsewhere, Alexandre has started helping his dad in repairing the house.
As time passes, they all realize how lovely it feels to work for themselves, and most importantly, they get to know the real value of money. However, friction started happening between Francis and the children. Artus tells Stella that she needs to clear the table before she starts throwing up at night. Francis is shocked to learn that and Stella tells her dad that she has been anorexic for a year now. Meanwhile, other children also share the instances when they needed their father the most, but he wasn’t there.
Francis gets really angry and tells them to put all the blame on him. However, they soon patch up and once again start living as a family. During the end moments, Juan Carlos, the man Stella wanted to marry, finds their hideout and blackmails Francis to let her daughter marry him or he’ll tell the truth to his children. He tells everyone that all their bank accounts are working now and they can head back to their house as well.
A few days later Juan takes Stella to City Hall in order to get married. None of the family members in the Bartek family knows about it and when Francis calls his daughter, to tell the truth, Juan says that they both are getting married. Francis, along with Philippe and Alexandra, reaches City Hall and stop the marriage. Francis tells Stella that everything Juan has told her is a lie and he is just after his money. On the other hand, Francis tells his children that police were never after them and he did this to teach them a lesson because they were good for nothing and were spending money as they earned it.
They are not happy to learn the truth and tell their father to forget them. They start living separately and nine months after, one of his friends takes him to the old house where the children are living right now and started their own work. Artus has started selling RIMA shoes while Alexandre has started his own home-repair company. On the other hand, Stella is working hard to open her own restaurant.
Francis meets them and wishes Stella a very happy birthday. She gets emotional but doesn’t say anything. While leaving the place, Stella stops him and hugs him as they all get back together.
The movie ends with the whole family celebrating Stella’s birthday and all the success they have achieved.
