Sophie Wessex, Prince Edward's wife, arrives at St George's Chapel in ankle-length black coat and sling-back heels
Sophie Rhys-Jones, the Countess of Wessex and wife of Prince Edward was seen arriving at Prince Philip's funeral at St George's Chapel with her head bowed in respect. As she entered the Chapel with her children Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn, she looked elegant in her black dress coat which she paired with a black fascinator and black heels.
Her demure and dignified look was praised by users worldwide, who were also moved by her motherly gesture. As she bowed in respect to the Duke of Edinburgh, she put her arms around her children to support them at a time of grief and emotion. "Sophie Wessex has been a very dignified woman throughout this. Liked seeing her arms out supporting her children, a good mother," a user wrote on Twitter about her.

"Isn't she just so dignified"
Sophie, Countess of Wessex, turned heads as she stepped down from the car in front of the chapel. Dressed in an ankle-length black dress coat, with long sleeves and a brooch, the 56-year-old looked beautiful as she entered the venue.
She accessorized with simple pearl drop earrings and carried a black clutch. Her blonde hair was tied back in a neat bun and held with a black fascinator. She wore sling-back black heels and donned a black face mask. Her entire look was subtle, demure yet extremely graceful.
She stood outside the chapel with arms around her children, while the family bowed down to pay their last respects to the Duke of Edinburgh. Sophie was soon accompanied by Kate Middleton and Princess Beatrice.
Inside the chapel, Sophie sat flanked by James, Viscount Severn, and Lady Louise Windsor, while her husband Prince Edward sat beside James at one side.
