CATHEDRAL HEIGHTS, WASHINGTON, DC: A woman was recently caught on camera hurling racist slurs at her Uber driver on a DC street, and social media is determined not to let her go. Twitter users have now come together to try and identify the woman who was seen calling the Uber driver the N-word multiple times. She is being dubbed on social media as the 'DC Karen'. 

"I employ you. I’m your boss. I’m your f–cking boss,” the woman," the woman screamed at the driver as they stood on a Cathedral Heights street. "You’re a piece of s**t,” she said and then called him the N-word six times in a row. She also called the man a “slave,” “schizophrenic” and “illiterate". The driver retaliated, calling her a coward and a bi***.

The altercation was caught on camera by a resident of an apartment building on the street, and also by the Uber driver himself. The two appeared to be arguing over a phone charger but the details are not clear. At one point in the video, the driver tells the woman she will be exposed online because of the video. “Hey Karen, you’re going to be all over the internet as a racist woman!” the Uber driver told her. “Yeah, I am now. Because I did nothing wrong,” she said.

Though many on Internet said the woman doesn't look like a White person, the woman can be heard in the video, claiming she is White. "I’m White and you’re not. That’s why you don’t like me. Because I read and write,” she said before walking away, yelling the N-word six times.

Social media users have now issued calls to identify the woman. Many have questioned her ethnicity, and are wondering if she is White. "Aight now Twitter detectives…..you know the assignment. We expect full bio on this chick in bout 12 hours," one user wrote on Twitter. Another said, "I generally hate the “cancel culture” impulses of people….BUT…100% deserved here. This woman needs to be out of a job by Friday evening. Also…I’ll wager she is a Lib. Works for a non-profit, tech, or govt. She’s accustomed to getting her way." "This is exactly what Twitter should be about!! Get ‘‘em boys!" one user commented. "My guess is she will be out of her government job by Monday," one user wrote, while another said, "the elusive hacker known as 4chan has already ID'd her. You'll have to visits the boards if you want to know more."

Others claimed that she's not White and started guessing her ethnicity. "What’s her ancestry? She definitely doesn’t look white," one user wrote, while another said, "Wait, she doesn't look white. She's minority". "She looks she could be from India. Who knows?" one user wondered, and another said, "Angry middle eastern woman said what?"
