LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Snoop Dogg's daughter Cori Broadus opened up about her health condition on Monday, February 20, after undergoing a kidney biopsy procedure last week. The CEO of the CHOC factory revealed the results of the surgery to her Instagram followers stating that she will not have to undergo chemotherapy.

"Just got off the phone with my rheumatologist and these are the results from the biopsy," she captioned the Instagram post, detailing her current health condition. Broadus, who struggles with lupus diagnosis and high blood pressure problems, continues to mention that her health condition is at stage 3 of 5. "3 is mild but still active," she wrote. "I would've had to take chemotherapy if I was at 4," she explained. Broadus is likely to start Benlysta treatment which will consist of a shot once a month or injection every week. Moreover, the doctors appear to have assured the 23-year-old that her condition was still at a reversible stage.

'They were at stage 4 when I was younger'

"They were at stage 4 when I was younger which is why they were treating me aggressively recently so they wanted to be safe," the daughter of the legendary rapper added. "Kidneys are okay just inflamed," she wrote, before concluding that she needs to "keep taking Cell Cept and check blood pressure every day." In another Instagram upload, the young singer detailed the kidney biopsy procedure. "During a kidney biopsy, your doctor uses a needle to remove a small sample of kidney tissue for lab testing. The biopsy needle is inserted through your skin and is often directed using the guidance of an imaging device such as ultrasound," she wrote.

In 2022, Broadus revealed that she was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease when she was only six years old. “So my immune system is super weak. I [have] experienced hair loss, so my mom came home one day with a bunch of scarves, and we were playing in scarves and just trying them [in] different ways,” she wrote on her Instagram.

'She’s a fiancé'

Meanwhile, following the footsteps of her father, Broadus also sings and often posts cover videos on her YouTube page. Besides, she got engaged to her long-term boyfriend Wayne Duece in November 2022. She announced the exciting news on her Instagram alongside a photo of her showing the diamond-encrusted engagement ring. “She’s a fiancé,” she captioned the post at the time.
