How to prepare Sleepy Girl Mocktail?

To prepare the sleepy girl mocktail, you will need a few items.

Ingredients

Ice

½ cup pure tart cherry juice

1 tablespoon magnesium powder

lemon-lime soda or sparkling water.

Method

1. Pick a glass and add ice to it.

2. The 1/2 cup of cherry juice should then be added.

3. Stir the liquid well after adding 1 tablespoon of magnesium powder.

4. Add your preferred lemon-lime beverage as the last touch.

How does the mocktail help sleep better?

Melatonin, an organic sleep hormone, is present in tart cherry juice. Studies demonstrate that when extra melatonin is administered, it works in conjunction with the melatonin that already exists in our bodies to promote sleepiness. Regarding magnesium, scientists believe that it could promote sleep by calming the central nervous system, Better Homes & Gardens reported.

Magnesium is a popular replacement for people trying to generally calm their nervous system due to its well-established benefits for sleep. According to Nature's Best, the mineral reduces nerve activity and aids in the regulation of neurotransmitters, the brain's chemical messengers. Through soothing the nervous system, we are consequently better able to relax and fall asleep without being kept awake by our thoughts.
