FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA: The recent 'Sister Wives' Tell All Part 2 unveiled shocking details about Kody Brown's polygamous relationships. During Season 18, Meri Brown noticed Kody wearing a new wedding ring, sparking inquiries.

Christine Brown shed light on the matter in the 'Sister Wives: One on One' special, explaining that Kody initially wore a ring from his marriage to Meri.

However, Christine revealed that Kody melted down the ring, keeping the gold and diamonds, after meeting Robyn Brown.

Meri, learning this truth about her wedding ring, was heartbroken, realizing it happened around seven years before her catfishing scandal.

Meri expressed her emotional struggle, stating, "And I spent those seven years trying to, like, be in this relationship with Kody that he did not want to be in with me."

Despite these signs, she continues her relationship with Kody.

However, viewers criticized Meri for holding onto expectations. An X user wrote, "Damn Meri, you should've been outta there years ago after he melted your wedding ring. Not much more clear than that."

Another X user tweeted, "Meri “why don’t you just say the words finally”. Girl he divorced you, melted the ring down and has the diamonds in a ring to represent his love for Robyn. How much more do you need?"

Meri Brown 'extremely frustrated' after Christine shares a private story about her

After filming the 'Sister Wives: One on One' special, Meri Brown learned that Christine Brown had shared the intimate story and wasn't thrilled. In a post-special confessional interview, Meri admitted to being 'extremely frustrated' with the revelation.

She said, "I am extremely frustrated right now, beyond [frustrated]." Meri added, "After we did the taping for the one-on-one interviews with Suki, I found out that a story was brought up about me that is not a story that I have ever shared publicly."

Meri later expressed her anger over the situation and how her story was revealed. She noted, "That is my story to tell when, where and how I want to."

She elaborated, "And somebody else took it upon themselves to tell that story, and now I’m being forced to talk about it. I’m not happy about it."

Kody Brown claims his new wedding ring symbolizes 'new beginnings'

Kody Brown melted down Meri Brown's ring in an apparent bid to prove that his first wife 'had no claim' on him.

However, Kody and his four wives, Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn Brown, wore a Claddagh ring, which had been established as an important symbol within the plural family.

Meri, Janelle, and Christine even went together to purchase Robyn's Claddagh ring ahead of her and Kody's wedding. However, Kody secretly replaced Claddagh's ring with a new one. 

Kody said he initially bought the new ring just because he liked the style. He said in an episode of 'Sister Wives', "I saw this really cool ring. It was way nicer, and I went, 'That's cool, I want that!'"

However, he later admitted, "I just went, 'Those relationships are over.'" Kody added, "The Claddagh ring's off. I'm done."

'Sister Wives' Season 18 'Tell-All' premieres on Sundays at 10 pm ET on TLC.
