'Sister Wives' Season 16: Kody slams Meri for cutting him out of her life

In an interview with talk show host Sukanya, Kody complains about Meri and her actions

In the recent episode of 'Sister Wives', host Sukanya interviews the polygamous family regarding the many issues they have. All the while, Kody Brown constantly talks ill about his wives, saying that they complain all the time.

Kody tells Sukanya that he doesn't see the sense in Meri talking to people outside of their relationship. The irony here is that Meri and he have not had intimacy in their marriage for over a decade and being this controlling isn't right or fair to her. They also revisit the incident where Meri was catfished online. She thought she was hitting it off well with a man she met on the internet, but he later turned out to be an elderly woman.

Here's what fans think of the latest episode of 'Sister Wives'. One fan said, "Also if Mari is 'just friends with Koby', is she NOW allowed an intimate relationship with another man? A marriage is taking that change in the commitment, and because you have other wives, it’s a cowardice to shelter in the other relationships! #sisterwives".

One fan tweeted, "There is no way to discuss Kody and Meri’s marriage (and lack there of) without considering the impact of Meri’s infertility struggle coupled with the emphasis their religious and family culture placed on child bearing. #SisterWives", while another said, "My heart hurts for Meri. She can still have relationships with the big family if she left Kody. She deserves happiness too. She’s def worth it! #SisterWives".
