'Single's Inferno' Season 3 dubbed 'best K-show' as panelists spice up the plot with blunt critiques
SEUNGBONG-DO, SOUTH KOREA: 'Single's Inferno' Season 3 bagged the most popularity over all the other seasons of Netflix's dating show.
The panelists, Hong Jin-kyung, actress Lee Da-hee, Super Junior member Kyuhyun, rapper Hanhae, and Season 2 star Dex, were very open about their feelings towards the contestants.
Fans believe the regular panelists openly critiqued the cast members with the help of Kim Jin Young aka Dex.
He was seen reflecting his honest thoughts about the contestants throughout the season.
And, this helped others as well to stand up and speak bluntly. The viewers were impressed seeing Da-hee call out Lee Gwan-hee and confess her dislike towards him.
Throughout the season, we saw her trolling the basketball player for his rude and manipulative behavior.
On the other hand, Jin-kyung was also seen being open about her strong feelings towards each cast member.
Seeing the panelists make Season 3 memorable, a Reddit fan wrote, "Can we all give kudos to the hosts for MASSIVELY stepping it up this season? This was easily some of the best K-show commentary I've seen in a show."
To this, one commented, "Every single comment made by Jin-Kyung made me cackle, and Da-Hee has so much insightful commentary."
Another wrote, "Imm proud to say I did NOT skip thru any of their commentary scenes this season lol. They upped their game big time!!! Dex was a great addition!"
A fan claimed, "True. When seasons 1 and 2 were airing, I was constantly skipping their portions of the show. But I noticed with season 3, I actually payed attention and listened to what they had to say. So they definitely stepped it up."
"I love that now they show commentary /reactions in the middle of a scene instead of waiting after," another noticed.
Lee Da-hee dubs 'Single's Inferno' Season 3 star Lee Gwan-hee 'manipulative'
One of the best moments of 'Single's Inferno' Season 3 was when Da-hee did not hesitate to call out a Korean basketball player on record.
Seeing Choi Hye-seon torn between constantly entertaining Gwan-hee and giving him affirmations, Da-hee was disappointed seeing him twist narratives.
She lashed out in anger, saying, "He's a manipulative coward." This shocked Hanhae as Da-hee did not hesitate about the camera rolling while she made the harsh comment.
Other panelists agreed with Da-hee, "Gwan-hee deserves it though. He doesn't express anything and wants everyone else to do it for him."
Will there be 'Single's Inferno' Season 4?
After the popularity of Season 3, there are good chances that Netflix will green signal another season of Korean dating drama.
It is speculated that there will be a slight change in the format of the new season.
In 'Single's Inferno' Season 4, the contestants will be divided into 2 groups, one who will live in paradise and the other who will stay in an inferno.
The ones in the inferno will compete to bag the luxury stay in paradise and the one who loses in paradise will be sent back to the inferno.
'Single's Inferno' Season 4 is speculated to be released in the fall of 2024, following the same release pattern as previous seasons.
