'Tinder Swindler' Shimon Hayut now charges $20,000, private jets for nightclub appearances
Notorious 'Tinder Swindler' Simon Leviev aka Shimon Hayut, who inspired a crime documentary of the same name, is now reaping the benefits of his "success" from the Netflix show. Leviev, who conned several women for more than $10 million via the dating app Tinder, is still living in luxury. Meanwhile, several of his victims are still struggling financially as they are paying off their debts.
In the latest reports, it has emerged that Leviev is now charging as high as $20,000 for appearing at high-end nightclubs and entertaining the guests. He has gotten offers from hotels and clubs in Philadelphia, and Boston in the US as well as Germany and Mexico, which include a private jet, 5-star hotel suite, black SUV cars, and 2 full-time security guards. Recently, Leviev was also spotted Ferrari shopping in Tel Aviv, Israel, wearing a $2,600 Gucci jacket.

'The Tinder Swindler': Who is Cecilie Fjellhoy? Victim came out against conman Shimon Hayut
TMZ reported recently that Leviev, 31, has Gina Rodriguez as his representative, who is associated with celebrities like Mama June. While Leviev served several months in jail on charges of using a fake passport, he is yet to face any action for squandering so much money.
In fact, business offers are pouring in for the notorious conman, who has an upcoming dating show and podcast in the pipeline. He is also active on celebrity e-greeting service Cameo, where he charges $200 for individuals and as high as $1,000 for business.
All this comes after the 'Tinder Swindler' scammed women with private jets, yachts, and fancy cars to make millions. The Netflix documentary that was released on February 2 showed three of his alleged victims Cecilie Fjellhoy, Pernilla Sjöholm, and Ayleen Charlotte reveal how Simon Leviev convinced them to hand over thousands of dollars.
Shimon Hayut adopted the name Simon Leviev and introduced himself as the son of diamond mogul Lev Leviev. However, he has no connection whatsoever with the Leviev family or any diamond business for that matter. He is currently dating model Kate Konlin, who believes he is innocent and all his victims are lying to tarnish his image.
Shimon Hayut began his acts of crime at the age of 20, stealing checks from a family of a four-year-old that he babysat in Kiryat Ono. He did the same while working as a handyman at the home of a businessman in Herzliya Pituah. Hayut used that money to buy a Porsche and to take flying lessons. He also conned a classmate at the aviation school by making him invest in a non-existent deal.
In 2014, Shimon Hayut was accused of theft, forgery, and fraud. However, he fled to Finland using a forged passport before he could be convicted. Hayut was charged with defrauding three women there and was sentenced to three years in prison.
Following his prison sentence, he was extradited to Israel in 2017 where he discovered that the indictments against him had been updated. Hayut was arrested by the Israeli police but was released on bail, paid by his brother and a friend. It was during this time that he created the identity of Simon Leviev. He also formally changed his last name to Leviev so that his driver's license and passport would be credible. He fled Israel for the second time soon after and started operating in Europe using Tinder.
Presently, he has been officially banned by all major dating apps across the world.
