The model with 124k Instagram followers is Simon’s usual type. They started dating after Simon slid into her DMs on Instagram, narrated to her the whole story, and claimed he was trapped by the women with false accusations. Konlin revealed in an interview with Israeli magazine Mako in July 2021 that the Tinder Swindler told her everything about his shady past and his reputation around the globe.
“He did not hide anything from me, it was important to him that I know everything about him from the beginning,” she told the magazine.
Despite his obviously shady past, Simon, whose real name is Shimon Hayut, was not banned from Tinder until the documentary gained popularity in 2022. Simon presented himself as the son of a famous diamond merchant and duped Cecilie Fjellhøy, Pernilla Sjöholm, and Ayleen Charlotte by matching with them on Tinder and luring them in by showing his private jets, yachts, and fancy cars. He further gained their sympathy by telling them that he has been attacked by his 'enemies', convincing them to send him money, which he never returned. He also went on to blackmail the victims.
However, his current girlfriend Konlin is backing him up and said Simon never asked her for money. Simon has also denied all the allegations and blamed all the victims for making false stories around him. “They weren't conned and they weren't threatened, No, I am not, and I never presented myself the son of a billionaire diamond mogul.”
Leviev had been behind the bars in Finland in 2015 for cheating three other women. He was released in 2017 and then jailed again in 2019 for multiple frauds. However, he was released early for good behavior.
