You don't expect to be attacked by a crocodile when you're enjoying a pleasant swim with your partner. But one couple was in for a unique experience when the terrifying creature plunged into the pool where they were sharing a romantic moment.

Unsettlingly, crocodiles from the Nile and saltwater aggressively pursue humans. Any crocodile that is over eight feet long poses a threat to people, but these two species are the most dangerous. They sneak up on prey and even emerge from the ocean to attack someone from the shore.

The throat, nostrils, and eyeballs are a crocodiles' weak spots

They assault anything that they can turn into a meal because they are opportunistic carnivores. The tremendous pressure these reptiles apply is impressive—their bites are stronger than a lion's. The best course of action is to stay away from any possible threats, but these creatures can be sneaky and catch you off guard. Leave the water and flee for protection if you come face to face with a crocodile.

It's nearly impossible to get a crocodile to open its jaws voluntarily once it begins to bite down. You could prod at some of their sensitive areas, though. Their throat, nostrils, and eyeballs are a few of these. Fortunately, the victim in this video escapes the assault. By remaining in the water for too long, she makes a serious error but recovers. The incident was captured from a webcam on the outside.

Man jumps out of pool leaving the woman behind

The video, uploaded byFailArmy on Youtube, shows a backyard with a pool at night. A pair is in the water, huddling together in the corner of the pool. It's difficult to see them at first because of what appears to be a parasol blocking the view. Within seconds, chaos breaks out as a crocodile makes its way toward the pair from the bottom right of the screen. It moves toward them, its glowing eyes scarcely visible. It begins off as sly. It stops, then quickly lunges forward. The woman in the water is instantly targeted, and she retreats even further into the pool's middle.

The woman is left to fend for herself in the water after the man reacts and jumps out of the pool. Although she is able to put some distance between herself and the crocodile, it is still biting at her arm. She maintains her wits about her as she moves back toward the pool's edge to get out. The crocodile lunges at her again but she is able to get out of the pool in safety.
