Till Jail Do Us Apart: 'RHOA' star Sheree Whitfield and Tyrone Gilliams' relationship timeline
Sheree may be "wifey" to her lover Tyrone, but she has no plans to marry him anytime in the foreseeable future. The 52-year-old 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' actress had revealed her future intentions with her jailed beau in a 2018 interview with US Weekly. “I mean, he would love to marry me right now, but I am not marrying someone who is in prison. I am keeping my options open,” Whitfield stated bluntly.
Tyrone Gilliams was strapped with a ten-year sentence for wire fraud schemes in 2013. Although the reality star and Tyrone have dated before, they didn't get serious until around 2016, and things really heated up in about a year, as per Sheree. She went on to add that she meets new people all the time, and the strange thing is that no one has ever been able to retain her interest or catch it. "I love him and I have said it before, if he comes home, and I am still available and everything is great, what he is doing and what he says he is going to do, then absolutely I can see a future.” she said.

Sheree Whitfield was spotted filming for the show's forthcoming season in February, and longtime boyfriend Tyrone Gilliams was set to join her on camera for the first time while being on non-speaking terms for months. According to sources, the two recorded many sequences together during that time period, including the season finale, in which Sheree organizes a fashion show.
Shereé Whitfield last appeared on 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' in the show's tenth season. She was still with Tyrone Gilliams, who had served about half of his 10-year jail sentence at the time. Tyrone was caught in 2011 and sent to ten years in prison in 2013 for his role in a Ponzi scam that cost his investors $5 million. The former Penn State student now hosts his own podcast, 'The Art of Wealth,' which purports to teach people about Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). The podcast project, however, appears to have been discontinued, as there have been just two introduction episodes.
Tyrone's appearance in the reality show is significant. As fans will recall, the pair had a falling out after Sheree reportedly tried to surprise him with a television team in November 2021. He was in home confinement at the time and couldn't leave the house for any reason, including for filming. Tyrone's attorneys sent a cease and desist letter to NBC, Bravo, and production firm Truly Original, requesting that any traces of him be removed from 'RHOA' video, social media posts, and advertisements that featured his name. Tyrone and his attorneys were able to reach an agreement with Truly in February, which resulted in him shooting in mid-February. He was able to film with Sheree and the other 'RHOA' cast members in Atlanta as he was no longer in home confinement. This will be Tyrone's first appearance on television.
Where do Sheree and Tyrone stand right now?
Despite his history, Sheree considers him to be one of the best guys she knows. The She by Sherée designer was an initial cast member of the program for the first four seasons before leaving in 2012 and returning in 2015 for the eighth season. For seasons 9 and 10, her role on the show was promoted to full-time. Sheree and Tyrone's relationship was highlighted in previous seasons; they were together while he was imprisoned, which created for an intriguing plot arc.
