Shark Week 2020 | 'Adam Devine's Secret Shark Lair' is a laugh riot, viewers joke he's 'making a Shark sex tape'

Despite Devine's, Holm's, and Anderson's lack of shark knowledge, the three actors were good sports as they dived multiple times to learn more about tiger sharks

What do you get when you put three comedy movie stars and the ocean's most dangerous predators together? A really fun episode of Discovery Channel's Shark Week programming for 2020. Actor Adam Devine (best known for 'Pitch Perfect', 'Workaholics', and more) went diving with sharks with his friends and fellow actors from 'Workaholics', Anders Holm, and Blake Anderson to learn more about a congregation of tiger sharks. Of course, if it were just them, we may just have had a television reboot of Steven Spielberg's 1975 film, 'Jaws'. Thankfully, the actors had shark expert Dr Austin Gallagher with them to teach them some basics about sharks -- like perhaps looking for penises to differentiate between male and female tiger sharks -- and some fun science facts -- Devine and his friends will now surely remember that a mammogram is not the same as a sonogram.

Despite Devine's, Holm's, and Anderson's lack of shark knowledge, the three actors were good sports as they dived multiple times -- once as Devine and his friends spun some tracks to attract tiger sharks and also to tag sharks to help Gallagher study whether the congregation of tiger sharks had pregnant sharks among them and other information.

Fans were entertained by this Shark Week special as Devine and his friends provided a bunch of laughs as they hilariously -- and perhaps, a little cluelessly -- swam around with dangerous sharks as they fooled around. One fan tweeted, "Thank god they have some professionals on this special with Adam Devine otherwise these actors would be dead, cause they have no idea what the hell they are doing for most of the time. #Sharkweek." Another viewer wrote, "I absolutely love the entire vibe of @ADAMDEVINE #SecretSharkLair It’s looks & feels like so much fun but it is also full facts, science & so much knowledge! 'Adam Devine's Secret Shark Lair' aired on Discovery Channel on August 12 at 9/8c. A repeat presentation will air on August 13 at 1am ET.
