'Shameless' Season 10 Episode 10: Ian and Mickey say they have moved on, but that is clearly not the case

So Gallavich is over and fans just have to wait for them to find their way back to each other again.

In the meantime, even though Mickey and Ian insist that both of them have moved on, a certain promotional teaser for the upcoming Episode 10 of the ongoing Season 10 gives some hope that maybe not all love is lost — thanks to the secret ingredient of passion called jealousy.

The trailer begins with Mickey looking over the new "love of his life" Byron fixing his scooter which Ian had peed into right at the very end of the previous episode. Of course, the two don't know that the Vespa isn't working because of Ian.

However, when the redhead Gallagher himself shows up at the spot out of nowhere, the new couple (or whatever Mickey wants to insist they are) are slightly shocked.

Ian claims he popped by to return some of Mickey's stuff that he had left behind in the Gallagher house, and also claims he was hoping the two could talk in private. "No," Mickey defiantly retorts, adding: "Anything you got to say to me, you can say in front of the love of my life, Byron."

As Ian is almost leaving, Byron — who desperately begged Ian to take Mickey away from his house in the previous episode — calls out Ian's name and invites him to watch a show the next day.

Much to Mickey's frustration, Byron gives Ian full details of the band performing and the venue where they will be attending the concert — maybe out of a slight hope that Ian can still win Mickey back, thus lugging him out of Byron's house, and of course, his life too.

It's not easy living with the Milkjovich's, and Byron is clearly not cut out for that kind of a crass mess. But trust Ian to jump at any opportunity to spend some time with Mickey and it just gives more hope to us Gallavich stans!

Things get even more twisted when Byron says he can get Ian on the list and even arrange for a room for a plus one incase he is tagging somebody along.

This catches Mickey's attention, and he says Ian won't need a plus one because he has got "a lot of, uh, what'd you say? Personal work you needed to do before you'd be ready to play the field."

Mickey is, of course, referring to Ian's elaborate "it's not you, it's me" breakup cliché from the previous episode, but Ian is not one to quietly take his leave.

He snaps back saying: "No, no. I actually, I just took a page out of your playbook and attached myself to the first swing and dick I saw," referring to how quickly Mickey moved on with Byron.

Ian adds he and this supposed new fling "barely know each other, but man, it has been a fairy tale so far." Rubbing more salt on Mickey's wound, Ian keeps faffing how the reason he came over to Byron's place is that they have both seemingly moved on so there is no reason to be awkward.

There's such an obvious look of painful sinking on Mickey's face as he replies congratulating Ian, only to hear: "It all happened so fast, but when you know, you know, right?"

Of course, Mickey doesn't know Ian is just trying to spite him for him not taking his need for space owing to his bipolar disorder seriously, but now that the seeds of jealousy have been sown, it's only a matter of time before these two get back to sort it out like a bunch of rabbits.

'Shameless' airs every Sunday at 9 pm only on Showtime.
