'Shadowhunters' superfans take to billboards to save the show ahead of the fantasy series' final installment
When Freeform chose to cancel its biggest fantasy show 'Shadowhunters', it triggered a worldwide phenomenon where fans all over the globe came together to create what would be dubbed the strongest fandom ever as they did the utmost and the unthinkable. In their attempt to save the show they have grown to so ardently love, adore, and swear by, they created the #SaveShadowhunters campaign and went to the lengths of even flying a plane with a banner over the Netflix headquarters. Sadly, however, with just days to the premiere of the final installment of the series, there has been no news about the show getting picked up; but that's not our focus, neither has that been able to deter these superfans. After noticing the poor promotion the network was doing for the final season, fans have now taken to creating billboards with their own fan art as part of their campaign — launching on February 25 throughout Los Angeles!
