'Shadowhunters' season 3B: Clary's loss leaves Jace, Alec, and Isabelle's relationship strained
With the epic final season of 'Shadowhunters' drawing nearer - just a little over a month away now - Freeform has finally given in to fans requests and blessed us with a whole new set of photos for the upcoming season 3B. Based on the bestselling 'The Mortal Instruments' novels by Cassandra Clare, the three-year-old series has been able to garner a wide, intense fanbase who have been fighting and battling their best to get the show picked up by another network after Freeform canceled it last year. But while the show's future might look bleak as of now, these new photos do highlight all the drama and action about to unfold in the upcoming second half of season 3.
As of now, there has been ample teasing going on from the cast of the show about what to expect in season 3B. What we know as of now is our protagonist, Clary Fray (Katherine McNamara) is gone as a result of the explosion we saw in the finale of season 3A. Following that loss, as expected, those closest to her - especially the love of her life, Jace Herondale (Dominic Sherwood) and her childhood best friend, Simon Lewis (Alberto Rosende) - have been left broken beyond repair.
