Seventeen's world tour in 2022? Rumors float after domestic album sales cross 10M
Seventeen’s rise to the top has not been a shock for fans who knew for certain that the group would make it. This slow and steady growth, as well as their current fame, is proof of how these hardworking members of the group deserve all the success they are getting. Seventeen has always been on the top but all thanks to Hallyu Wave, the members of Seventeen have something more to celebrate.
It was recently reported by Pledis Entertainment that Seventeen has now surpassed 10.13 million copies in terms of albums sold so far since their debut — and that is just the domestic sales. The number of sales made internationally would be way higher. Seventeen made their debut in May of 2015 and now after six and a half years in the industry, the group is getting much-deserved attention, internationally.

Seventeen world tour?
The members of Seventeen appeared on ‘MTV Fresh Out Live,’ performing a live version of ‘Rock With You’ — the title track of their ninth mini-album, ‘Attacca’ released last month. With the success of the album, the group began bagging multiple music show wins as well as charting as top artists.
‘Attacca’ became a double million-seller within the first few weeks of its release which is why there is continuous chatter about the group going on a world tour this year. While nothing has been confirmed yet, there are rumors that suggest Seventeen will meet fans in-person on a world tour sooner rather than later. The claims suggest that Seventeen will begin their world tour in the first half of 2022.
Japanese single from Seventeen
While their 2022 concert is still under wraps, their plans to increase their Japanese fanbase by releasing a new single, is not. Part of their ‘Power of Love’ project, the Japanese language song ‘Ai No Chikara’ (translated as ‘Power of Love’) will be released as the triumphant end to their 2021 activities, before heralding a new year of gloabl possibilities.
The release of the single will follow their 2021 ‘Power of Love’ two-day concert that started with ‘Power’ on November 14 and will end with ‘Love’ on November 21. Meanwhile, Seventeen aired the Japanese edition of their ‘Power of Love’ concert on November 18 while the group's Japanese winter single, ‘Power of Love’ (Ainochikara) will be released on December 8.
