Coye Simmons' lack of effort and communication ultimately killed his connection with JaNa Craig

MAMANUCA ISLANDS, FIJI: 'Love Island USA' Season 6 islander JaNa Craig was fed up with putting efforts into her relationship with Coye Simmons. She tried her best to communicate with Coye, repeatedly asking him to open up about his feelings.

However, Coye's lack of effort and communication ultimately killed his connection with JaNa, leading to his elimination from the dating show. JaNa decided to choose bombshell Connor Newsum and explained, "I want to believe that he is open to working on our relationships."

She added, "This has been a very difficult decision." However, the Peacock show islander further noted, "I told myself I'm gonna just always put myself first while I'm here so that if I were to leave, it's like no regrets, you know?" She elaborated, "So I did what I felt like I needed to do." However, the Peacock show viewers supported the islander for her decision.

On social media, one fan wrote, "Kudos to Jana for dumping Coye. he clearly didn’t care about nothing." Another person added, "I can’t help but to stan JaNa! That’s my girl!" One critic noted, "I am so freaking proud of Jana! Always do what’s best for you girl!!!"

Why did JaNa Craig ditch Coye Simmons?

'Love Island USA' Season 6 islander JaNa Craig tried to communicate with Coye Simmons to fix their communication issues. She expressed that she wanted him to open up about his true feelings. However, Coye was not ready to communicate better, claiming that it had only been three days and he needed more time to open up.

However, after ditching Coye, JaNa explained what went wrong between her and Coye and noted, "Communication...like when it comes to our communications, I just felt like I always had to like push, you know, like initiate them first." She elaborated, "And I feel like it should be a two-way street and it just didn't feel like a two-way street at all."

Coye Simmons' body count disgusts JaNa Craig

'Love Island USA' Season 6 islanders and bombshells participated in a body count game that sparked heated drama. Coye Simmons had previously shared that his body count was around or less than 100, while, JaNa Craig claimed to have sexual relationships with around 15 people.

However, it was later revealed that both had lied to each other, with Coye having slept with 150 people and JaNa with 22. Coye's body count disgusted and disappointed JaNa, who remarked, "I don't know why it's like impressive, it's not a flex."
