Who is Savanna Chestnut? Kansas country singer set to audition on 'The Voice' has been touring since she was 13
We've seen several great country singers already audition on Season 20 of 'The Voice'. However, until now, there hasn't been a great female country voice so far in the auditions. Savanna Chestnut is here to change all that. Giving country fans something to look forward to, Savanna may have small-town roots but this country singer who will audition on Season 20 of 'The Voice' could certainly hit the big spotlight.
She's clearly had enough practice in honing her craft. Savanna began performing and writing at age 13 and has been actively pursuing a career in music ever since. Savanna has toured extensively and while she started out playing at various bars and festivals, she then went onto open for acts like Eli Young Band, Tanya Tucker, Ned Ledoux, Sunny Sweeny, Ward Davis, Granger Smith, Restless Heart and Shenandoah.

The 25-year-old crooner hails from Valley Falls, Kansas. Savanna's great passion is the sweet, twangy sounds of old school country music which she aims to bring back into the modern country music scene. 'The Voice' will not be the first platform where Savanna's musical talents are recognised.
In 2017 and 2018 she was nominated for 'Female Vocalist of the Year' at the Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards. Savanna's music has also received air time on local radio stations around the country.
Savanna says she writes her songs for and about fans of true country music. Savanna even has an album already out called 'Prairie Fire'.
But while she may like the sweet soothing melodies of country music, it seems like Savanna has got a bit of an edge as well. Her Instagram bio reads, "Trusted supplier of sarcasm and country music." Well, we have to say that we look forward to both on the show.
‘The Voice’ airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on NBC.
