Sarah Richards: Woman arrested after stealing man's $12K Rolex and hiding it in her genitalia
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: A Baltimore woman is reportedly accused of stealing a Rolex watch from a hotel guest in Las Vegas on Sunday, December 11, and hiding it in her genitals. Sarah Richards, 33, was in Las Vegas for a court appearance on Monday, December 12, in a related theft case.
According to authorities, Richards is charged with grand larceny and using a narcotic to facilitate a crime. On Sunday morning, a man called 911 from Aria hotel and claimed that a woman, later identified as Richards, had taken goods from his room, including a $12,000 watch. The man claimed to have met Richards and invited her to stay in his room. The two apparently began to snuggle when Richards allegedly asked the man to take off his Rolex watch so it wouldn't cut her while they were cuddling. Police stated, "[The victim] ended up taking off the watch and placing it under his pillow. He drank more wine since Richards kept insisting it," according to 8 News Now. Later, the man discovered the watch was missing.

Richards "went into a panic" and left the room as the man followed her down the hallway into the elevator and then the lobby, where he informed security. The cops eventually found the man's watch in Richards' genitalia after initially failing to locate it on her.
In the arrest report, officers noted, "She stated that we were going to find it anyways at jail and she did not want to go through the hassle." Police added that when the watch was seized, officers put it inside a biohazard bag. Additionally, police stated that they discovered an opened purple pill capsule that "had very little white substances inside of it."
Richards was in Las Vegas for a court appearance related to the theft of another person's watch that occurred in June, according to police.
Records state that Richards was accused of stealing and breaking into a house in June. Monday was set aside for the June case's preliminary hearing. The victim from that incident allegedly told police that Richards drugged him on June 4 at a hotel on the Las Vegas Strip and then stole his Patek Philippe wristwatch, which was worth around $100,000.
The victim claimed Richards contacted him in the hotel's bar, and after the two decided to go into his room, Richards claimed she needed "help with money." The victim claimed that the suspect gave her $1,000 from the room safe after asking hotel security to assist him in opening it. He told the police that his watch was gone from his wrist when he woke up many hours later.
Richards started talking to an undercover Metro officer at a different Strip establishment the following day when she started informing him about prostitution. An arrest report, she was later arrested on suspicion of engaging in prostitution. The subsequent court hearing for Baltimore resident Richards has been scheduled for January after she posted a bond.
