Ronald Richards shares details about $25M Tom Giradi's firm spent on 'RHOBH' star Erika Jayne's career
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Erika Jayne was served with a $25M lawsuit by the trustee ruling over her estranged husband, Thomas Girardi, and his now-defunct law company, Girardi Keese, in summer. Just a few days ago, attorney Ronald Richards uncovered data regarding Girardi Keese's firm, EJ Global, receiving $25,592,261.26 from her.
In bankruptcy court, claims totaling more than $500M were brought, but Tom Girardi had little assets to his name. Erika has been embroiled in a slew of court disputes stemming from her husband's alleged financial misconduct. All charges of misbehavior have been refuted by the Bravo star. Despite her attempts to have the lawsuits dismissed, Erika is still facing a $25M lawsuit seeking that she reimburse money that Girardi Keese spent on EJ Global's expenses over the years. The trustee stated in the latest complaint that they want to recover payments made to a business named Staffing Partners in the six years preceding the Chapter 7 filing.

As Erika proceeds to defend the case, arguing that she should not have to pay back the "fraudulent transfers," Ronald has posted a six-page document with his followers, with the heading "Summary of Net Payments Charged to EJ Global Receivable Account," that spans the years 2008 through 2020. "We have attached the list and breakdown of the $25,000,000 that was spent on Erika, her career, and her lifestyle," Ronald said on December 23. "The Trustee has also deposed her. We will post the lawsuits when they are done being processed. As an adjunct to yesterday’s filings, numerous new lawsuits are being filed against some of Erika Girardi's vendors. We deposed her on them and now the Trustee is going to try and get the money returned. They will hopefully cooperate and provide information regarding these expenses."
Girardi Keese made a variety of payments to various production firms, photographers, talent agencies, travel services, hair studios, the franchise tax board, which was paid $3,256.96, and even The Hollywood Reporter, which received a $13,360 payment, according to the complete list of costs. The highest payment was made to American Express to the tune of $14,259,012.84. This was followed by $1,532,774.88 to talent agency McDonald Selznick Associates and $1,260,000 to healthcare provider Paradigm Management Services, LLC. A $1,417,587.50 payment was also made to what was identified as "unknown." Meanwhile, the smallest sums, $80.06 and $66, went to the Secretary of State and the City of Los Angeles, respectively.
Erika's attorney provided a statement to Page Six in August 2021, after a less complete breakdown of her spending was made public. "[Erika] never had and does not have personal liability for any debts or obligations of EJ Global LLC, period," they said, dismissing the trustee's "malicious" assertions as a "reckless publicity grab."
Erika and her co-stars are set to begin filming for the 13th season of 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' in early 2023.
