ROME, ITALY: Netflix recently launched its newest crime-drama series, 'Ripley' on Thursday, April 4, and fans are absolutely loving it. The show has been receiving positive feedback since its release.

Steven Zaillian, who won an Academy Award for 'Schindler's List', brings together an impressive ensemble cast for the Netflix adaptation. The cast includes Andrew Scott, Johnny Flynn, and Dakota Fanning in the lead role.

'Ripley' takes place in the early '60s New York where Scott's character, Tom Ripley, is a con artist barely making ends meet.

A wealthy businessman hires him to go to Italy and persuade his carefree son, Dickie Greenleaf (Johnny Flynn), to come back home. Taking this job marks the beginning of Tom's descent into a world filled with lies, scams, and murder.
