'Real Housewives of New York City' has always been one of the most popular series of 'Real Housewives' franchise. So when Season 13 was announced, fans were very excited to catch up on all the crazy shenanigans of the Big Apple ladies. Although the season kicked off on a high note the show quickly went downhill as fans began to lose interest in the show with each passing episode.

The new housewife-Eboni Williams' preachy nature, Leah McSweeney's over-the-top behavior, and Ramona Singer's offensive and racist remarks didn't sit well with fans. Although the entire season was a disaster according to the fans, the season's finale episode was very well-received by the fans. The New York housewives did what they always do best- drank loads of alcohol and partied hard. Just as fans were heaving a sigh of relief over the season-ending on a high note, the showrunners announced that a behind-the-scenes special titled 'So... That Happened' would air as a filled episode before the reunion. So many tuned in to watch the behind-the-scenes special and were once again left feeling disappointed.

The behind the scenes special episode was an interactive episode, where a scene that wasn't aired on the show was telecast followed by a housewife asking the audience to guess what might have happened next. Despite the network's best efforts to engage fans and spark interest in the network's top-rated show, fans were bored.

Watching Sonja Morgan explain about her internship program, and Luann constantly flashing her 'tramp stamp' quickly bored the fans. Many fans took to Twitter to question the showrunners for airing the filled episode instead of the reunion. A fan tweeted, "There wasn't even good footage cut out from this season lmfao. Yeah, cut the reunion and call it day. #RHONY." "It’s so disappointing and honestly, wtf is this episode right now??? #RHONY We ALL deserve so much better than this. Where’s the damn reunion??," wrote a fan. Another fan added, "This interactive #RHONY episode is just sad. Just end the terrible season."

Another fan shared, "@bravotv This RHONY episode some rock bottom bullsh*t. Sonja Morgan WE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR INTERNS, dogs, cats, moth balls. And, your townhouse has bad ju ju. Sell it and be done. Quit wasting our time. #RHONY." "Why does this episode even exist? Last week's finale was all we needed for this season's broke-ass end. This franchise is on its last. Let it go, Bravo. #RHONY," expressed a fan. "#RHONY It was bad enough watching these episodes the first time, we really didn’t need to revisit snippets of boring past episodes. Is this what RHONY is reduced to? Thank goodness for Netflix.," seconded a fan. "WEIRDEST. EPISODE. EVER. #RHONY," declared a fan.
