Does Jackie Goldschneider owe an apology to Teresa Giudice? 'RHONJ' fans say 'Teresa started it'

'RHONJ' fans slammed Teresa for expecting an apology from Jackie when she was clearly the one at fault

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Teresa Giudice is notorious for holding grudges while also being unreasonable — both traits that her fellow housewife Jackie Goldschneider seems to be the latest victim of. 

The pilot episode of 'RHONJ' Season 11 featured Teresa dropping an explosive rumor about Jackie's husband, Evan Goldschneider cheating on her with some girls from his gym. When Jackie heard about these rumors later, she was seething with rage at the OG housewife. Jackie decided to teach Teresa a lesson by giving her a taste of her own medicine, unfortunately, her plan backfired and led to an epic fallout between the ladies.

While confronting Teresa for spreading rumors about her marriage that could potentially tear apart her family, Jackie also wanted Teresa to understand how damaging the rumors could be. So she threw in an analogy of how rumors of Teresa's daughter Gia Giudice doing drugs would affect her. Unfortunately, the analogy didn't sit well with Teresa as she failed to grasp that it was just an analogy and not a rumor that Jackie was spreading, and snapped at her fellow housewife. 

Teresa stormed off threatening to destroy Jackie verbally. Jackie maintained her composure and declared that she was willing to move past the issue if Teresa called her husband Evan and apologized to him. Teresa refused to do that and insisted that only after Jackie called up Gia and apologized to Gia would she consider apologizing to Evan. 

When fans heard Teresa's expectations of apology from Jackie, they began calling her out and pointed out how Jackie didn't owe her anything. A fan tweeted, "WHY does Jackie need to apologize in order to get an apology from Tre who STARTED THE WHOLE THING? #RHONJ." Another fan wrote, "Why does Jackie have to apologize?!? Teresa is the one who brought it up at Evan’s party!! #RHONJ." 

Several fans felt that it was Teresa's fault that led to things escalating to that level, and she shouldn't expect any apology from Jackie. A fan expressed, "Making Jackie apologize first once again pacifies Teresa’s jacked up behavior. You don’t reward being an a**hole with an apology. #RHONJ."

"Asking Jackie to apologize FIRST for her reaction to what Teresa did is absolute BS. Every action has a reaction. Had Teresa kept her mouth shut, Gia would not have been mentioned. #RHONJ," shared a fan. "Jackie DOES NOT owe Teresa an apology. Teresa ABSOLUTELY owes Jackie an apology. The Gia analogy is not an excuse Teresa! #RHONJ," echoed a fan.
