Why did Teresa Giudice spread rumors about Jackie Goldschneider's marriage? 'RHONJ' fans dub her 'hypocrite'

Teresa's plan to exact revenge from Jackie Goldschneider might have backfired in the most epic way

If there's anything that we all know about 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Teresa Giudice, it is that the housewife isn't the type to forgive and forget. Teresa is known for holding grudges and lashing back when one is least expecting it, and it looks like her fellow housewife Jackie Goldschneider might be learning this the hard way.

The premiere episode of 'RHONJ' Season 11 began on a pretty explosive note. Although Jackie and Teresa never shared such a great bond to begin with, still she invited the OG housewife for the birthday party she was throwing for her husband, Evan Goldschneider. But just like every housewives' party, there was plenty of drama in it. At the party, while Jackie was busy showering her husband with all her love and attention, Teresa was going around spreading rumors about Jackie's marriage and husband.

Teresa went from table to table revealing that she heard a rumor about how Evan "does stuff" at his gym with other women. When the ladies questioned Teresa where she heard these rumors from or if she had any proof, the housewife played coy and declared that she's bad with names and didn't remember who she heard it from. By the end of the party, almost all of the guests were privy to the rumors.

So, the next morning when Jackie heard about the rumors, she called up Teresa and decided to sit down with her and clear up the air. When the ladies met, Jackie made it clear that she didn't appreciate her fellow housewife playing such a huge role in trying to tear apart her family and destroy it by indulging in baseless gossip-mongering. Teresa was far from apologetic and just kept defending herself by pointing out how if Jackie and Evan knew that there was no truth to the rumors, she shouldn't be so affected by them. 

When fans saw Teresa behaving so ruthlessly, they began calling her out for being a hypocrite. In earlier seasons, when rumors of her former husband Joe Giudice cheating on her were doing rounds, she flipped at everybody and made a huge scene, but had no hesitation about doing the same to other women.

A fan tweeted, "I’m SO OVER this type of behavior from @Teresa_Giudice. Grow up...and she has the audacity to rage when people talk about her love life negatively. Damn-so over her. @JGSchneid @MargaretJosephs @melissagorga @DoloresCatania @Andy #RHONJ." Another fan wrote, "Hulk smashing, table flipping Teresa will kill a bitch if they take about her family...yet here she is. #RHONJ." Another said, "Teresa is a hypocrite! She threw all kinds of temper tantrums over people talking about her marriage. Yet, here she is doing the exact same thing that was done to her #RHONJ."

Fans were also convinced that Teresa was acting out of jealousy and spite. A fan shared, "Teresa is jealous of Jackie. That’s what her rumor dropping was about. That’s why she had no specifics. It was an outright lie. Shocker. Teresa lies. #RHONJ." Another said, "Really Teresa??? Spreading rumors about someone's hubby cheating at that person's birthday is so horrible. She doesn't even know who told her Someone's jealous 15 mins. in. #RHONJ." Another fan pointed, "Teresa always held a grudge so she is going to make Jackie pay for last season even if it is with lies. T will NEVER change. She is jealous bc Jackie doesn’t kiss her ass, is smarter, richer & has a good marriage. #RHONJ." 

Jackie was done with Teresa and decided to give her a taste of her own medicine. Jackie then revealed to Teresa that she heard a rumor last year about how Gia Giudice snorted coke in the bathroom at parties. Jackie also added that she didn't remember who she heard the rumor from. She then sat smugly watching Teresa lose her cool. The OG housewife began cussing Jackie and stormed out angrily. Jackie continued to smile and declare that she won the fight. We can't wait to see how this plays out, and what Teresa will come up with to exact her revenge on Jackie.
