'She’s selling herself short': Kelly Dodd slams Shannon Beador for tolerating John Janssen's toxicity
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Flipping Out' alum Jeff Lewis shared an update on the 'Real Housewives of Orange County' couple Shannon Beador and John Janssen. The famed real estate speculator and interior designer spoke about his strained relationship with Shannon on 'Watch What Happens Live.' After claiming that Shannon and John's relationship allegedly won't last long in the last episode, Jeff opened up about his strained relationship with Shannon.
Jeff confirmed that Shannon has "forgiven" him. "She realizes it was my stuff. It had nothing to do with John and Shannon and she has forgiven me and so has John," said Jeff on the last episode of 'Watch What Happens Live.' Well, it seems 'RHOC' star Kelly Dodd agrees with Jeff's claims that Shannon and John's relationship won't last long. She further stated reasons why their relationship will stall. Recently, Reality Blurb uploaded a post saying, "Flipping Out Alum Jeff Lewis is Sharing an Update With Shannon Beador After Saying Her Romance With John Won't Last, Talks Status With Jenni, and Tells Andy the Need For "Background Checks" on Real Housewives." Kelly keeping a keen eye on social media happenings instantly commented on the post. The 47-year-old reality star stated, "Of course, it won't last!!"
She further added reason to her statement saying why Shannon's relationship with John allegedly won't last. Kelly added, "He (John) hasn’t bought her one thing or taken her on one vacation !!" Kelly further gave us an in-depth look at what exactly is wrong in their relationship. 'RHOC' star stated that Shannon is the one in a relationship who always allegedly pays for everything and never gets anything in return from John. Moreover, the reality star accused John of creating a "toxic" environment for Shannon. "She pays for everything. He does give her support in this toxic environment so she has that," wrote Kelly.
Rick Leventhal's wife further stood by Shannon's side, stating her good qualities in the comment. She wrote, "Shannon deserves happiness and true love." Furthermore, the 'RHOC' slammed her for tolerating the "toxic" environment. She wrote, "Too bad she’s selling herself short and showing her kids that it’s ok to be treated this way." A fan commented on Kelly's comment, "That's messed up. Why would any woman put up with that shit? What does he even do for a living?" Another said, " I’m confused. Are you saying Kelly should keep her mouth shut and NOT expose the dead beat boyfriend? Because Kelly really does know." Shannon and John have spoken about the possibility of getting married but this is not a "priority for them," as per People. "We do talk about it but it's not something that we need to rush to do," said Shannon. However, the couple is reportedly happy in the stage they are now. "We're happy. I have two kids that are going to be home for another year and a half, so I'm not doing anything right now," states the 58-year-old.
