'RHOC': Will Kelly Dodd's daughter Jolie become like her? Trolls say she's a smart kid 'no thanks to you'

Many fans warned Kelly to listen to Jolie and go easy on her, otherwise, she might end up with a daughter who resents her

Kelly Dodd of 'Real Housewives of Orange County' fame might not be a fan-favorite housewife, thanks to the many controversial statements she has made both on-camera and off-camera, and of course her current obsession of speaking endlessly about her sex life with Rick Leventhal. Despite her many flaws, there's no denying that Kelly is a very attentive and hands-on parent to her daughter-Jolie Dodd. 

The recently aired episode of 'RHOC' featured the mother-daughter duo getting into a tiff over Kelly's strict parenting. Jolie was annoyed with her mother's controlling behavior and how she is very strict and lays out several rules, despite her being nothing but an amazing daughter. Jolie pointed out how she has been studying hard, getting good grades, doing household chores and everything else asked of her, yet Kelly continues to be extremely hard on her. She expressed displeasure with her mother's style of parenting and claimed that she hated spending time with the housewife due to it.

Kelly was taken aback on hearing such harsh feedback on her parenting from her dear daughter. In her green room interview, Kelly explained how she had a very strict upbringing from her mother and that helped her grow and thrive in life and she was doing the same with her daughter, so that she can reach her full potential. Unfortunately, Jolie didn't seem to share the same views, who felt that her mother should cut her some slack for being a good kid.

Jolie might not be alone on this, as several trolls on social media took Jolie's side and pointed out how she turned out fine despite having Kelly as her parent. A troll tweeted, "Jolie is not spoiled despite Kelly being a whacko #RHOC." Another troll shared, "Kelly - Jolie is a beautiful girl she is smart, a good kid. No thanks to you. You are a sex addict, alcoholic, Trump supporter, oblivious to #COVID19 . You should count your lucky stars. #RHOC."

Many fans warned Kelly to listen to Jolie, and go easy on her, otherwise, she might end up with a daughter who resents her. A fan wrote, "Kelly has a good kid and if she doesn't be careful and give this girl some rope her kid is going to bolt. She already resents being around her #rhooc #RHOC." "Kind of sad hearing Kelly’s daughter pleading with her. If your child is doing everything right AND succeeding, you should commend them. Not continue to act in a demeaning, authoritative manner. That can lead to severe anxiety and lack of self confidence later on. #RHOC," echoed another fan.
