DUBAI, UAE: The 'Real Housewives of Dubai' Season 2 star Sara Al Madani insisted Chanel Ayan reveal the world about her traumatic circumcision. However, instead of supporting her friend Sara made a surprising comment about Chanel which left her devasted. Chanel recently reunited with Sara for the first time after her shocking revelation.

In the premiere episode of the Bravo show, Chanel discussed the backlash she received from various media outlets especially, after Sara claimed that she was playing a 'victim'.  During the housewives' dinner, Sara discussed how she had started spiritual therapy before Chanel broke down in tears. Chanel called out Sara and claimed that she was upset at her for telling media outlets that she was trying to play the victim.

However, Sara insisted that she was trying to help her when Chanel left more furious and claimed that she put a "knife in my back." Meanwhile, in a previous podcast episode of 'Two Ts In A Pod', Chanel reflected on the victim claim and said, "Yes, I am a victim, but I have my power now because I talked about it." The Bravo star added, "I feel like saying it [helps me] to get me my power back and confidence that I’ve always lost in it with my body and things like that."

The Bravo star added, "We marry each other, we’re 100% Muslim, nobody talks about FGM like it’s something bad." Chanel added to the outlet, "I was talking about things that I’m not supposed to talk about. So I got a lot of backlash from that."

Chanel Ayan claims no one reached her after female circumcision revelation

Chanel Ayan revealed during the podcast episode that none of her friends from 'RHODubai' reached out to her after she exposed her traumatic experience of female circumcision. She told podcast host Tamra Judge that "not even my closest friends" knew about her past, which made opening up in front of the cameras incredibly difficult.

Chanel further noted, "When my story aired, Tamra, nobody reached out to me, and I mean nobody reached out to me." Bravo star added, "I was on my own in my house crying, closing the curtains, now knowing that the whole entire world knows this about me."

Chanel further revealed, "And then I got the worst backlash, man. 'We don't accept you. We don't want you. Who do you think you are?' Like, I was being crazy. I was on my own. I was, like, so stressed. I was having bad thoughts. I was so angry with myself."
