The new episode of 'RHOD' deals with the aftermath of last week’s chaotic dinner party where Chanel Ayan had a spat with Caroline Stanbury for being snubbed from her bachelorette party, or "hen party". Sara Al Madani visited Stanbury's home, along with fellow castmate Caroline Brooks, who also did not get along with Chanel. The trio had a conversation about Nina's dinner party when Brooks brought up Chanel's behavior. Al Madani mentioned that she felt something triggered Chanel during the argument, while Stanbury added that she didn't understand why not getting invited to the bachelorette bash would bother her this much. "I'm sorry that she's had trauma in her life, but she's not going to add to mine," she said, clearly unaware of just how deep the trauma in Chanel's life was.

Later in the episode, Chanel addressed the dinner fight while visiting Madani's home. During what seemed like a therapy session between the women, Chanel emotionally opened up to Madani about her abusive father and how that triggered her feelings about the situation with Caroline. She reveals that her father was extremely abusive towards her and never acted like a father figure to her. He treated her so badly that she thought she was always the problem when things go wrong. Chanel continued to share her horrific childhood experiences, mentioning that she was once tied to a tree in the rain and that her father wanted to marry her when she was just 14 years of age. “That's why at that dinner when someone kept saying, 'I don't like you, I don't like you, I don't like you,' it triggered me so bad," revealed Chanel. This also led to Madani opening up about her own struggles, including her past two abusive marriages, and suggested that hypnotherapy may help Chanel heal and cope with her triggers.
