WASHINGTON, DC: The Republican Party took down the tweet posted on October 6, 2022, praising Kanye West, Donald Trump, and Elon Musk. The tweet got deleted soon after the rapper had a long rant about Adolf Hitler on Alex Jones's podcast 'Infowars' on Thursday, December 1, 2022.

The GOP had not removed the tweet even after Kanye made extremely antisemitic remarks. Kanye said in the show with Jones, "I see good things about Hitler… Every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler.”

However, Jones, who is popular for pushing lies around events such as the Sandy Hook school shooting, claimed, “The Nazis were thugs.” To which the rapper responded, “But they did good things too. We gotta stop dissing the Nazis all the time. I love Jewish people, but I also love Nazis.” He then went on to explain, “There’s a lot of things that I love about Hitler. A lot of things," reported The Guardian.

Meanwhile, some GOP leaders have already responded to Kanye's statements. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif said, "He must have a mental issue. No one can believe what he said," according to NBC. According to The Guardian, Norm Coleman and Matt Brooks, leaders of the Republican Jewish Coalition, stated in an official statement, “We vehemently condemn those comments and call on all political leaders to reject these messengers of hate and relegate them to the dustbin of history where they belong."

Further, the statement added, “Given his praise of Hitler, it can’t be overstated that Kanye West is a vile, repellent bigot who has targeted the Jewish community with threats and Nazi-style defamation. Conservatives who have mistakenly indulged Kanye West must make it clear that he is a pariah. Enough is enough.”

Jonathan Greenblatt, chief executive of the Anti-Defamation League, said, “Saying you “like Hitler,” “love the Nazis,” and spending all your time with a white supremacist makes one thing clear: Ye is a vicious antisemite. His comments today on InfoWars are not just vile and offensive: they put Jews in danger.”

'The Republicans are, quite literally, the new Nazi Party in America'

The Internet quickly reacted to the update of the House of GOP deleting the tweet. Fred Guttenberg, the father of Jamie Guttenberg, one of the victims of the Parkland shooting, stated, "This is the tweet that @JudiciaryGOPleft up since October 6th. They just deleted it. I guess we should assume antisemitism was ok until Kanye brought Hitler into it? THEY LEFT THE TWEET BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT THEY BELIEVE AND WHO THEY ARE."

Actor Mark Ruffalo tweeted, "In time everything that Rep. Jim Jordan does in the world will be exposed as harmful, toxic and wrong; every person he cheers on is a lousy person and sociopath. Jordan will be seen on a level with Benedict Arnold with as much scorn and ignobility."

Another user added, "Not even hiding it, anymore. The Republicans are, quite literally, the new Nazi Party in America." A user stated, "The Trump wing of the GOP is effing sick. I will NEVER vote GOP again. Not ever. #GOPTraitorsToDemocracy."

"And why are we all surprised by this? We know where the @GOP stand. But it’s ok, They are all welcome at Mar a Lago," claimed a user. A tweet read, "Brought to you by @Jim_Jordan who has done nothing in his entire time in Congress. He just spews hate and lies." Another wrote, "They are pathetic and without shame."
