While Bryan Baeumler is toying with the idea of early retirement and spending more time pursuing his hobbies and spending time with his family, his wife Sarah Baeumler has the exact opposite idea in her mind. With the travel restrictions being lifted and the world slowly resuming back to pre-pandemic times, the Baeumlers realized that they didn't need to be so hands-on with the day-to-day operations of the resort, so the 'Renovation Island' stars decided to move their home base to Florida.

The Baeumlers wanted a fresh new start in Florida, so they decided to renovate their old family home to their dreamy new abode. This meant that they would have to undertake yet another round of intense renovation work. Between the Florida home renovation, and several small upgrades and tweaks to be done around the resort in the Bahamas, including building a dock, Bryan realized that he had a lot on his plate. In the midst of all this, Sarah also was keen on expanding their business, so the 'Renovation Island' star decided to take a major leap by moving out of their home office and renting out a dedicated office space for her business operations. In order to save some costs, Sarah bought an unfurnished space that needed some renovation work. She roped in Bryan to help her out with it.

When Bryan saw the amount of work that needed to be done to the new office space, he snapped. Bryan felt frustrated by the amount of work that was being dumped on him at all times. Though, he eventually got around to working on the office space for Sarah's sake, 'Renovation Island' fans were however in no mood to forgive Sarah. Many fans felt that her timing was off with purchasing the office space while they were already in the midst of their home renovation.

A fan tweeted, "Renovation Island, how about less arguing and your kid's extracurricular activities and more RENOVATION?! Isn’t this the Home & Garden channel? This show is literally 2 mins of renovation to 10 minutes of Bryan and Sarah bickering. It’s getting old. #RenovationIsland #HGTV." "I would of went up on purchase price for the house and got what I needed in a home. This remodel, rental home and big office build out is stressing even me out. Oh and maintenance on #RenovationIsland with the new dock," wrote a fan. "Poor Bryan…always being given the never ending project. #RenovationIsland," commented a fan. "I don’t think Shara is using her #head. They have too many things going on at once. #RenovationIsland," observed a fan.
