Reality Star of the Week: Sarah Ann Bick stands tall after getting ‘iced out and bullied’ by ‘Love Is Blind’ costars

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA: The Season 6 reunion of 'Love is Blind' aired on March 13, and it may have been one of the most emotionally dramatic reunions.

A "panel" of past 'Love is Blind' contestants from prior seasons asked questions throughout the reunion, providing much-needed lightheartedness.

Sarah Ann Bick and Jeramey Lutinski currently live together after dating for a year. However, although they clearly need to be held accountable, the yellings they received appeared to be significantly harsher than anybody else's, leaving less space to hold other candidates accountable for their actions.

The plot of Sarah Ann and Jeramey added a lot of drama to the show because Jeramey was caught red-handed discussing his location while "staying up" with Sarah Ann at 5 am, probably cheating on his fiancée Laura Dadisman.

Laura was applauded for carefully pointing out his lies, but Sarah Ann received criticism (rightfully so) for reaching out to and chasing Jeramey when he was engaged.

Jeramey denied that anything physical occurred between them, but he and Sarah Ann did reveal that they are now living together and have been dating for nearly a year, showing that their relationship did have substance, albeit the method by which they reunited was certainly problematic.

Jeramey also said that, while he was previously engaged, he was not engaged just before or during his appearance on the show - another sensational story that circulated after photos of him with his previous fiancé appeared on social media.

Evidently, Sarah Ann and Jeramey deserve to be held accountable for their shady behavior on the show, but it's unclear if people like Jessica Vestal or Laura are the right people to be calling them out as a "pick-me girl" or "not a girl's girl," given that Jessica herself was ecstatic when Jimmy Presnell followed her on social media and smugly revealed to Laura that she believed he was still interested after he was engaged.

Laura is also hardly the model child for morals, as she pushed Jeramey to indulge in the forceful sexualization of Amber 'AD' Desiree with her crude, immature "bean dip" statement.

It appears hypocritical to witness Jessica and Laura chastise Sarah Ann while they are aware of their own conduct. Jessica said that this was not one of her greatest moments, and Laura claimed she apologized to AD, but she still does not appear to understand why the statement is so rude.

During the reunion, fans also discovered that Jessica is now best friends with former 'Love is Blind' Season 4 contestant Micah Lussier, who was also in attendance - the woman who was the "mean girl" of all mean girls in 'Love is Blind' history, sadistically enjoying the pain of other women. It's suspect enough that she's affiliated with someone like this while paradoxically calling out other ladies for pick-me tendencies.

It also felt catty of Jessica to bring up the fact that she removed Sarah Ann from the group conversation. Women on social media are condemning Sarah Ann for her body glitter and prom-like clothing, yet Sarah Ann looked amazing despite her awful behavior on the show.

It's not her appearance or fashion sense that should be scrutinized here: as a reminder, focusing on how a woman looks rather than her decision to seek an engaged guy is hilariously patriarchal and "pick-me" on its own, and it's not required to criticize her conduct.

'Love is Blind' Season 6 stars Sarah Ann Bick proud of herself for staying grounded

Sarah Ann reveals she was nervous before the Season 6 reunion of 'Love Is Blind'.

In an exclusive new interview with Page Six, shot just hours after Wednesday's tumultuous show, the reality star discussed everything from being put on the hot seat by co-hosts Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey to being labeled a "pick-me girl" by her female castmates.

"I had a lot of angst walking out on stage, of course. And, just given the situation between Laura and I, and like you had mentioned, being iced out, I really did feel that way," Sarah Ann told the outlet via Zoom on March 14.

"So I kind of did have my guard up, to say the least, because I didn’t know what to expect. However, I gave myself a little pep talk before I actually walked out on stage. I was like, ‘You know what? You know who you are. You know the truth. Go out, answer the questions, and walk out with a bang.'"

She continued, "I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t anxious. But, I’m very proud of myself. I really feel like I tried to just stay grounded."

"I did feel iced out and kind of bullied throughout the entire show," she told Page Six.

'Love is Blind' Season 6 stars Sarah Ann Bick admits being 'iced out' by #TeamLaura gang

Sarah Ann lashed back when the ladies used the phrase "pick-me girl" against her, alleging Laura was the one "talking very ill" about her on her pod dates with Jeramey.

"That came from a really deep spot because I was like, ‘[Laura], you in the lounge in the pod days, you were actually talking bad about me in order to get picked,'" she says. "I stand by the fact that I never went into a pod and talked ill of another woman because that was not something I wanted to do."

The female cast appeared to overwhelmingly support "#TeamLaura" after filming, prompting Sarah Ann to unfollow them all on social media. The reality star claimed during the reunion that she was "iced out" of a group chat when Jessica removed her from the thread.

"I’m like, ‘Well, why do you need to see into my life, into my relationship, if you don’t care for me? If you don’t want me to be your friend, there’s no reason for us to be friends on Facebook or Instagram,” the reality star clarified.

"And it’s truly from the female castmates, the bullying and the attacks are from them," she said, noting that she never had a negative relationship with any of her male co-stars.

Sarah Ann revealed to Page Six that nothing has changed in her connection with the ladies since the reunion. She informed the site that she hasn't had "any communication with them" outside the show in more than a year.

"I don’t have any ill will against any of the women. I think all of them have something special to offer. I think that, you know, it’s really sad the way that this unfolded, but I got what I came for. That’s the reality of it."

Marriage on the cards for 'Love is Blind' Season 6 stars Sarah Ann Bick and Jeramey Lutinski

Despite the backlash she's received from the cast, Sarah Ann, who claims she's apologized "ten times over," told Page Six that she has no remorse for DM'ing Jeramey after the incident. She's glad she found love on the show, and she hopes her current boyfriend will one day become her husband.

"We've definitely talked about marriage," she hinted. "It's something that we both are still wanting to do, but we want it to be on our terms."
