Real Doctor: 'RHOA' alum Sheree Whitfield announces her second honorary doctorate following Bravo exit
ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Sheree Whitfield, a former 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' star, may now refer to herself as Dr Whitfield. On Friday, June 21, she revealed on Instagram that she had received another honorary degree from Harvest Christian University in Dallas, Texas.
"I am truly honored and grateful to receive my second honorary doctorate degree!" she captioned the shot, which showed her in a graduation gown and carrying her degree.
"I want to thank God, my family, friends, & supporters for always rooting for me in this journey called “life”. I never thought I would be saying Dr. Shereé Whitfield EVER, but that goes to show you that the man above has the final say 🙌🏽. If GOD is with you, Who could be against you?" she added.
Shereé received an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Trinity International University of Ambassadors in 2018, and she was overjoyed with the honor.
Why did Sheree Whitfield leave 'RHOA'?
According to Entertainment Weekly, the press release announcing the 'RHOA' Season 16 cast did not include Sheree's name. As of the publication of this story, Shereé had not issued an official comment or provide any other information regarding why she is not returning to 'RHOA'.
