She may be just fifteen years old, but Rachel Mac from Romeo, Michigan, is self-admittedly an old soul. The singer and proficient guitarist, says “I had to have been Gen Z." Rachel describes her musical style as indie with folk vibes. 

And it's not just her musical talent that one can take their hat off to. It's also her sense of style. Talking about hats Rachel has quite a collection too.

The young singer may have got just one chair turn from 'The Voice' judge Nick Jonas, but she impressed the judges and fans with her youthful energy and spirit. Nick may have been the only one to turn his chair for her, but it was Blake Shelton that turned Rachel's head. She then went onto say that in fifth grade she had to make a presentation on something she loved and she made one on Blake. Cue the presentation, which had Blake saying Rachel had made his week. Blake said he was now going to keep an eye out for Rachel. 

While her performance may have left something to be desired, it was Rachel's personality that won over judges and fans alike. One fan posted on Instagram, 1daisybella "How old is she again? So talented! Her reaction was darling! 👏" Another fan tweeted, "Rachel Mac, so young yet so poised. Lotta vibrato. She doing good with the lyric. Gets one chair. So excited. Congrats! #TheVoice #VoiceBlinds

Another fan tweeted that the judges had encouraged the young star perfectly, "@NBCTheVoice Rachel Mac is the cutest. You all were so wonderful to her! @blakeshelton @kellyclarkson @nickjonas @johnlegend. But perhaps Rachel's biggest support came from another contestant on 'The Voice', Zae Romeo who posted several times on Instagram encouraging Rachel saying " That's my Bestie", "Never stop singing" and "Love you". Another contestant who cheered on young Rachel was Aaron Konzelman who posted on Instagram, "Killed it".
