'Queer Eye' special season promo sees the Fab Five head to Japan to meet new heroes and fans are already in tears
The Fab Five are heading to Japan! After recently dropping season four, the glamorous series recently revealed that the stars will return for a special season soon, and we finally got to see the first look.
'Queer Eye' dropped the teaser to their new Netflix special which is set to be a four-episode season. And as expected, it's time to stock up on tissues, because it will make you bawl your eyes out.
The teaser opens with an ecstatic-looking Tan France asking Jonathan Van Ness, Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, and Antoni Porowski if they are ready — in Japanese!
The Fab Five continue to express their joy to be in Tokyo by dancing along with their guide — actress and model Kiko Mizuhara in the middle of the Shibuya Crossing. Eager to get started, Jonathan then says, "I cannot wait to roll up our gorgeous little gay sleeves and get this ball rolling."
The teaser features the Fab Five immersing themselves in Japanese culture. However, things get emotional when they visit the four heroes the special showcases.

First is Makoto, a 35-year-old man who wants to reconnect with his wife. The gang also helps Yoko, a hospice nurse who has given up his home and life to help others.
Meanwhile, 27-year-old Kan is a gay man who struggles to introduce his boyfriend to his family and gets help from the 'Queer Eye' cast.
Finally, the teaser leads up to 23-year-old Kae, an artist and faced bullying all her life. After the special series was announced in January this year, fans were excited to finally see cultures merge together and see the Fab Five help new heroes.
Taking to social media after the first look, fans affirm that they better stock up on tissues for the series. "When it says 'try not to cry', but you're already crying.." wrote a fan on Twitter.
Another added, "The preview brought tears!! Oh I’m gonna stock up on tissues because this season is going to be more tears than usual!! #lookingforwardtothisseason."
"Why do you guys live to make me ugly happy cry? Lol I'm so excited," wrote one fan while another said, "You got me at, 'yes queen'. Japanese people are so beautifully humble and gracious. I think my heart will just full on burst."
The 'Queer Eye' special season will premiere only on Netflix on November 1.
