Marjorie Taylor Greene meets Trump at Mar-a-Lago, says he'll 'lead our party to victory in '22 AND '24'
Georgia Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene met with former President Donald J Trump at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday, before proclaiming that he will "will lead our party to victory in '22 AND in '24." The Republican firebrand, who has been linked to the conspiracy theory movement QAnon, tweeted a video of the two meeting and exchanging pleasantries with each other.
"It's great to be with Marjorie, she's really a very special person, she's out there fighting hard and the people of Georgia love her," Trump said in the video. In response, Greene told the 45th POTUS "the people love you" and thanked him for his words of encouragement.

Greene has reportedly been looking forward to meeting with Trump at Mar-a-Lago since February. "I'm excited to go visit him soon and continue to give him a call and talk to him frequently. Great news is, he supports me 100 percent and I've always supported him," she said during an interview with One America News on February 1.
At the time, she was constantly attacked from across the political aisle for her controversial social media posts.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has called Greene's "loony lies" a "cancer for the Republican Party," without naming her outright. "Somebody who's suggested that perhaps no airplane hit the Pentagon on 9/11, that horrifying school shootings were pre-staged, and that the Clintons crashed JFK Jr's airplane is not living in reality," McConnell said.
That said, the freshman congresswoman's hardline stances have also led to the House Democratic majority removing her from committees she was assigned to be on.
Last month, MEAWW reported how Greene called for President Joe Biden to be impeached in a Dr. Seuss-style rhyme on Twitter.
"I do not like your mental haze, I do not like your leftist ways. I do not like your son on blow, I do not like you, Mr. Joe," she tweeted on March 4 in a graphic next to Dr. Seuss' Cat in the Hat, captioning the post with "#ImpeachBiden."
Greene appeared to be mocking Biden's repeated fumbles during the 2020 campaign trail, as well as his son Hunter's past struggles with drug addiction. The representative's poem appeared to tie in Dr. Seuss, the renowned children's author.
Greene previously filed impeachment articles against Biden on his first full day in office back in January. "I've just filed Articles of Impeachment on President Joe Biden, we'll see how this goes," she tweeted at the time.

In a statement, the congresswoman representing Georgia's 14th congressional district explained why she did it. "President Joe Biden is unfit to hold the office of the Presidency," the 46-year-old wrote. "His pattern of abuse of power as President Obama's Vice Presidency is lengthy and disturbing. President Biden has demonstrated that he will do whatever it takes to bail out his son, Hunter, and line his family's pockets with cash from corrupt foreign energy companies. President Biden is even on tape admitting to a quid pro quo with the Ukrainian government threatening to withhold $1,000,000,000 in foreign aid if they did not do his bidding." She concluded: "President Biden residing in the White House is a threat to national security and he must be immediately impeached."
Greene called for Biden's impeachment once again in February, after the computer repair store that gave his son Hunter's laptop to the authorities had to shut down over death threats.
