'Disappointed' Savannah Chrisley compares her parents' sentencing to Jen Shah's reduced prison time
FRANKLIN, TENNESSEE: Savannah Chrisley insisted her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley are innocent on her podcast 'Unlocked'. She also criticized Jen Shah's six-and-a-half-year prison sentence, which is far less than that of her parents' 19 years, collectively. She's baffled why Jen Shah got a shorter prison sentence than her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley.
In her own podcast 'Unlocked', during the pre-recorded episode, she said, "Put the cases side-by-side, and it makes no sense — it just doesn't." For Savannah, Jen's case is more shocking than that of her parents. Explaining, she pointed out that there were actual 'victims' as a result of the telemarketing scheme. Savannah's parents on the other hand were convicted of 'tax evasion and bank fraud', using loans to help pay for their own lifestyle and hide money from the IRS.

"There were hundreds of victims who were elderly, and people that provided statements that lost their homes, threatened to end their lives," Savannah said. Adding to this Savannah also said, "There were so many different things, and she got six-and-a-half years. Make that make sense!"
Todd and Julie Chrisley report to prison to serve sentence
The Chrisleys reported to their respective prison locations on January 17. Todd is set to serve 12 years at the FPC Pensacola in Pensacola, Florida, while Julie will serve her 7 years at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
'Real Housewife' star Jen Shah was sentenced by a federal judge to six and half years, for conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Meanwhile, Todd and Julie's legal trouble began in August 2019, when they were federally indicted on conspiracy to commit bank fraud. The pair were found guilty in June 2022.
