Matt Lopez's 'Promised Land' is a perfect combo of drama, mysterious and wine. The show has impressed the audiences with unexpected revelations in every scene. If we were to judge by the dramatic music in the background, then we could be expecting more such shocks in the future of the series.

In Episode 3 of 'Promised Land', it was very much clear that Margaret (Kerri Medders) was a significant threat to the royal family. It was a great shock when Margaret revealed to her daughter Carmen (Mariel Molino) that it was Joe (John Ortiz) who took that vineyard from her and her family when they were married, but Joe was still in love with Lettie. On the other side, Lettie (Cecilia Suarez) cheated on Joe with his brother Billy. Joe suspected that Billy was alive; however, it's been years since he has spoken to his brother. In fact, everyone thought that Billy was dead, but to everyone's shock, he was alive and living as Father Ramos (Yul Vazquez). There are two sets of love triangles in this show. One was of Joe, Billy, Lettie triangle and the other was the Joe, Lettie, Margaret triangle.

However, Joe is very much determined to keep his family and business in power. So now the question arises: will he put his power and royalty into play?
