Ready to watch Idris Elba in a brand new light? Netflix's upcoming comedy slated to release on March 15, explores the story of Charlie, a struggling DJ and eternal bachelor, who is given a final chance at success when he is forced into a situation of becoming a "manny" to his famous best friend's problem-child daughter, Gabby. The eight-part series is co-created by Elba and Gary Reich, and since Elba is a DJ in real life going by the moniker DJ Big Driis, it will not be hard to imagine him spinning tracks and playing some really cool music. However, it will be the first time we will be seeing the 'Luther' star explore his softer side onscreen, unlike his tough guy roles such as Heimdall in 'Thor' and Stringer Bell in 'The Wire.'
