Game of Thrones is a sword and sorcery, fantasy series which is heavily based on the works of George R. R. Martin. The show revolves around seven fictional Kingdoms of Westeros and the continent of Essos. The series follows the intricate relationships between the noble families, and their rise and fall from power. The series features an archaic drama with so much backstabbing that it puts shows like ?The Real Housewives? to shame, and is arguably one of the best drama shows of our generation. What?s not to love about dragons, witches, the undead, and an all-star cast whose main aim in life is to one-up his neighbor? With the series premiering back in April 2011, the series has successfully spanned eight years, and Game of Thrones is set to premiere its final season on 14 April 2019 having already given audiences many a sleepless night trying to figure out just who will rule the seven kingdoms and subsequently, the Iron Throne.
