Producers Guild Awards 2020: '1917', 'Fleabag' and 'Succession' among night's biggest winners

Some of the best moments of the night came from ‘Toy Story 4’, ‘Apollo 11’, and ‘1917’, which won the Best Animated Feature, Best Documentary, and Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, respectively.

The Producers Guild Award celebrated its 31st edition on January 18, 2020. One of the most prestigious awards of the industry, the event commemorates the finest production projects in movies and television. Held at the Hollywood Palladium, Los Angeles, this year’s PGA saw the best of the best Hollywood stars, producers, directors, filmmakers, making their way to the top and taking the trophy home.

Some of the best moments of the night came from ‘Toy Story 4’, ‘Apollo 11’, and ‘1917’, which won the Best Animated Feature, Best Documentary, and Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, respectively. Then there was a special honor for Ted Sarandos, the Chief Content Officer, Netflix, as he was given the Milestone Award, followed by the Norman Lear Achievement Award given to Marta Kauffman, creator of ‘Grace and Frankie’. Next, we had actress Octavia Spencer honored with the Visionary Award and the movie ‘Bombshell’ receiving Stanley Kramer Award. The David O. Selznick Film Award was jointly given to Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner.
