Prince William offered WARM gesture to CAUTIOUS Meghan Markle before Fab Four’s walkabout outside Windsor Castle
WINDSOR, ENGLAND: Keeping their feud aside for the sake of their grandmother, warring brother Prince Williams and Prince Harry, accompanied by their wives Catherine Middleton and Meghan Markle, delivered a rare joint appearance outside Windsor Castle on Saturday, September 10.
The fab four made a walkabout outside Windsor castle to inspect the floral tributes left by well-wishers to mourn the demise of Queen Elizabeth II, who died on Thursday, September 9. Before the walkabout, Prince of Wales was captured making a welcoming gesture toward Meghan despite the simmering feud between the couples. As per the body language expert, Judi James, the gesture from Williams came upon their arrival at the Windsor Castle gate.

The body language expert told Mirror that while William and Harry were greeting an aide prior to their walk-about, confident Kate came around from the other side of the car to join her husband. But Meghan was being cautious in her movements at that moment and was left on her own, separated from the group.
Noticing Meghan standing apart, the Prince of Wales gently gestured towards the Duchess of Sussex, inviting her to join their conversation and introduced her to the aide who had arrived at the castle gate to greet the fab four before their walkabout. Body language expert Judi James explained: "He was the one to hold out an arm to gesture Meghan to join the group and be introduced to their host."
Then, Meghan moved forward and joined the conversation. Looking at hesitant Meghan, The Duke of Sussex, then placed his hand on her waist while giving her "signals of reassurance and support". The body language expert noted "Meghan and Harry used some mutual signals of reassurance and support. Harry placed an arm around Meghan’s back and rubbed it with his thumb and Meghan returned the gesture when they chatted to the crowds.”
James stated that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were "cautious" ahead of meeting the crowds but they eased up as soon the fab four walked towards the crowd and greeted the audience. The fab four were greeted by a big round of applauses by the crowd gathered outside the gates of Windsor Castle to honor the legacy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
While William, Harry, and Kate received warm greetings from the British public, Meghan had a frostier reception from some of the mourners gathered outside Windsor Castle's gates. The British public see her as a big factor in why the brothers no longer get along after The Duke & Duchess of Sussex stepped back from royal duty in 2021 and decided to settle a new home in a $14 million mansion in the US. While some shook hands with her with a cold face, some tried to ignore her presence by dropping their head and refusing to look at her. However, ignoring all this, the former actress was captured greeting the crowd with a big heart. She was seen cooing over babies in the crowd and even offering hugs out to some of the mourners who were waiting to meet the royals.
Saturday's reunion marked the first time that the two couples have all appeared in public since Commonwealth Day on March 9, 2020. A palace source revealed that the walkabout reunion of the two royal couples came after the new King Charles III wanted his warring son to keep their feud aside and reunite for the sake of their late beloved grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. The source even revealed William had extended the olive branch to Harry after a chat with the King.
