'She was having none of it': Woman goes viral after video captures her brutally snubbing Meghan Markle

Another woman pulled down her sunglasses and looked away to not make eye contact with Meghan Markle

WINDSOR, ENGLAND: Princes William and Harry made a rare appearnce with their wives Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle outside Windsor Castle on Saturday, September 10. The two royal couples reunited to inspect the tributes and greet the mourners who came together to mourn the death of Queen Elizabeth II. However, the meet and greet didn’t go down too well for the Duchess of Sussex as some mourners looked away stoically and one of them even snubbed her when she tried to shake hands with the common public.

The former 'Suits' star, who gave bombshell interviews about her time in the royal family, was accompanying her husband and was captured hugging and consoling mourners waiting outside the gate. However, some of them weren't having any of it. One off them reportedly avoided her and gave her the stink eye before shaking her head and sniggering.

The incident happened when Meghan was walking and shaking hands with the public and a woman lowered her head to ignore her and avoid her gaze. Then the woman lifted her head and gave her partner a knowing look while laughing with her. However, there were other mourners too who tried to ignore Meghan. Another person was seen withdrawing their hands from Meghan, or even putting sunglasses on to avoid making eye contact with her.

Reactions to this incident has been mixed with some slamming the woman for treating Meghan grossly and some praising her. “This is sooooo funyyyyy. For sure sugars will say: 'they're just jelous, Meghan who is black married a prince and they're not,'” one user wrote. Another wrote, "You can go on Oprah. You can write a book. You can do a podcast. And it was all blown away by the Lady in Blue." One more user, amused by the whole episode, wrote, "Protect that lady in blue at all cost. I would have done the exact same thing. She needs to be interviewed by @danwootton about her exact thoughts. #GoHomeMeghanMarkle #Megxit."

Some users who were unhappy with the incident did not hold back either. A user said “The lady is an actual embarrassment. Typical school girl bullying behavior.” “How awkward for those people going to pay respects to the Queen then having to be polite to 2 clowns that have called them racist. Wonder if any of them were the people who got letters from the Sussex about not looking at them if seen in the grounds…?” wrote a third.

Some people hugely appreciated Meghan's gesture and showed their love. One well-wisher, who spoke to Harry and Meghan, told MailOnline, "It's lovely to see them both together. Maybe they can get back to a proper relationship. Lovely ripple went through the crowd as they approached. Hopefully, the healing between Harry and his brother can start now. I'm just so excited to have seen them both together. It's lovely,"
