Trump brags about 'silent majority' at Tulsa rally, Internet points at empty seats and says 'it's invisible' too
Present Donald Trump had been eagerly waiting to address the people at the Tulsa rally after it was reported that nearly one million had sent an RSVP for the event. However, when the event took place, the turnout was different than what was expected. It was reported than less than 20,000 people had shown up for the event.
It is claimed that TikTokers and K-pop fans had sent an RSVP for the event that had everyone convinced that over a million people would be heading to the rally. Trump's campaign manager Brad Parscale had also spoken about how the fewer number of people attending the event was a result of fake news spread by the media along with other protesters who were out for the 'Black Lives Matter' movement.
Despite this, it looks like Trump was satisfied with how the event turned out. Taking to his social media he wrote, "THE SILENT MAJORITY IS STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE! #MAGA," along with pictures from the event where he was shown delivering the speech as his supporters cheered for him and carefully listened to him.
However, internet was quick to remind him that they had all seen pictures and videos of the real event that showed just how many of those seats were empty. "The 'silent majority' stayed home, Spanky. You might want them to speak up a little bit. Or not," one wrote while sharing a picture of empty seats from the event. "The place was empty. Total failure. Lmao," read another. "THE SILENT MAJORITY IS ALSO INVISIBLE!" said another. Yet another user shared a picture from the rally and wrote, "The place was empty. Nobody likes Trump! Total fail."
Trump also shared other videos from the event. In one of them, he took a dig at Joe Biden and wrote, "Joe Biden’s record can be summed up as 4 decades of betrayal, calamity, and failure — he NEVER did ANYTHING!" Internet users took this moment to remind him that, "Your rally was a bust. Everyone is laughing at." Another joked, "The silent and invisible majority was occupying the upper deck!" Another said, "Donald Trump is scared of Joe Biden. He knows his lackluster crowd is the beginning of the end of his failed presidency."
