All about TikTok's hysterical prank call trend

Being the victim of a humorous prank call is undoubtedly one of the world's most unpleasant experiences, but you have to admit that pulling the trigger on a funny hoax is a bit of a flex.

If you want to make the next viral prank film for TikTok or are just looking for something to do during a sleepover with your friends, you'll need to have a plan in place before you pick up the phone. Considering how worn-out the ‘your refrigerator running’ gags are, if you're going to commit to the joke, you should have the greatest prank call ideas.

It's crucial to remember that making prank calls to emergency services or sick people is completely unacceptable and, in all honesty, not even funny. Here are hilarious prank calls that led to three crazy incidents.

Truth or Dare game turns serious

An enjoyable and unexpected outcome caused a straightforward game of ‘Truth or Dare’ to become popular on TikTok. What started out as a young person's innocent prank call turned into an unexpectedly powerful message about love and appreciation.  The video was posted by an account with the handle @seekrzn. The account's mission statement states that it wants to motivate users to live lives that are ‘passionate & purposeful’.

Prank call leads to Title IX harassment case

Similarly, a Frisco ISD student attempted a viral Tiktok prank, but the school is now looking into whether it constitutes Title IX sexual harassment. The mother, Carla Broom, reportedly claimed that her son approached a teacher at the Frisco ISD's Robert Cobb Middle School using a ‘mumbling joke trend’ that is common on TikTok.

Pit Bull pranks pet store

Moreover, a humorous video of a dog playing a practical joke by contacting a pet store has amassed over 15.5 million views on TikTok. The video posted by @heymynamesluna shows an American Pit Bull Terrier in brown and white sitting in front of a phone while it rings at Rens Pet Shop.
