The truck driver who was beaten up unconscious by Black Lives Matter protesters had shared an anti-George Floyd post on Facebook just hours before the assault took place.

The post was shared on the Facebook page of Adam Haner on August 16 evening. The post had referred to the police-related death and murder of 46-year-old George Floyd as well as the fatal shooting of Cannon Hinnant, 5, in North Carolina. It read, "George Floyd was a 46-year old felon, high on Fentanyl, and he got 4 televised funerals and 70 days of riots. What does 5-year old Cannon Hinnant get?" Hours after Haner shared the post on his social media, he was pulled out of his white Ford 4x4 truck and beaten up.

The protesters had claimed that Haner had initially tried to hit them with his truck but witnesses say that he was actually trying to help a transgender woman who was being mugged by the group. Haner told the mob, "I ain’t tryna hurt no one."

Haner had also recently shared a picture of himself post the attack where he had two black eyes. His Facebook page was full of posts and other memes that read, "All Lives Matter" and one that read, "Would it be wrong to follow rioters home and burn down their properties? Asking for a friend."

We had earlier reported that the police have identified a suspect in the brutal beating of Haner in Portland over the weekend as Marquise Love, 25. Disturbing footage from the scene showed the man lying unconscious on the ground as protesters shouted "Black Lives Matter" in the background and others rushed to give him first aid.

Haner was beaten up before being kicked in the head and knocked unconscious. The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) released a statement where they said, "Yesterday, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) began investigation of an assault that occurred in the downtown area where an adult male associated with a white pick-up truck was violently assaulted. Investigators positively identified the suspect as 25-year-old Marquise Love. Investigators made attempts to contact Love but could not locate him." Some other videos taken at the scene show Adam bleeding from the head.

A reporter from the Daily Caller shared, "Several men punched Adam in the face. He actually hit the ground. When he hit the ground, a female then kicked him in the back of the head, and then we saw a suspect with a vest that said 'security' kick him in the head, and that sent Adam unconscious," on Fox & Friends. "Even then, they continued to attack Adam as he was clearly unconscious. It was very tough to see it in person," the reporter added.

Many social media users have slammed Marquise Love for his violent behavior. One such user shared, "He assaulted a man on video and was given DAYS to run before the cops could be bothered to even talk to him. Love's violence and hatefulness are inexcusable!"

Another added, "Per the video, it looked like attempted murder. You don't sucker kick a defenseless person in the head like that unless you intend to do grave bodily harm."
