Pedophile filmed himself sexually abusing dog, arrested after 'sickening video' found in his phone
MANCHESTER, ENGLAND: A pedophile has been put behind bars following a series of disturbing acts of sexual abuse against animals and children after authorities found video footage of him abusing his dog.
34-year-old Douglas Moore was convicted at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court last Wednesday, October 5, on 24 counts of multiple sex offenses, including having intercourse with an animal. The conviction came after Met Police discovered a "sickening video" of the perp physically and sexually abusing a dog. Investigators who analyzed his electronic devices also found that he tried to set up meetings to abuse dogs and children, and sought opportunities to exchange material with other abusers. Police also found him in possession of cannabis and that he wrote obscene articles online. Moore is now banned from owning animals and will be on the sex offenders registry for life.
Moore was jailed for five years after being convicted of 24 counts of multiple sex offences, including having intercourse with an animal.

According to the Daily Mail, Met police discovered footage of the dog being abused while investigating another offense last year. Police said the video was so disturbing that senior officers were summoned and a warrant was immediately sought to rescue to animal and arrest the offender. Moore, of Manchester, was arrested at his Stockport home on November 8, 2021, on suspicion of bestiality, possession of extreme pornography, and causing unnecessary suffering to an animal. The dog was found at the property and rescued. Meanwhile, investigators also seized cannabis and a number of electronic devices such as his cellphone and computer.

Specialists who analyzed Moore's phone and computer found that he had been committing distressing sex acts on the dog for a long time and used the dark web to search for extreme content involving animals and humans. Police said the suspect tried his best to erase chat logs and search history so he could hide his gross activities. However, the evidence against Moore was so extensive that he had no option but to plead guilty.
The offender was convicted of intercourse with an animal, causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal, and oral sex with a dead or alive animal. He was also convicted of possession of an extreme pornographic image or images portraying an act of intercourse, and intentionally encouraging or assisting the commission of an offense of intercourse with an animal. Moore was further convicted of child sex offenses including making an indecent photograph or pseudo-photograph of a child and attempting to arrange the commission of child sex offenses. What's more? He was also convicted for possession of a controlled Class B drug - cannabis or cannabis resin - and publishing an obscene online article.

PC Pete Howes, from the Online Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation Command, said in a statement, "Upon discovery of the original video we took immediate and decisive action to identify Moore and save the dog. I am happy to say the dog is now safe and well and being cared for. The scale of evidence compiled meant Moore was left with no option but to plead guilty. I'm pleased he is now in jail where he belongs. It is no exaggeration to say that this investigation may well have spared more animals, and humans, from coming to incredibly serious harm."
