Thank God for Kim Kardashian's persistence, else she would never have gotten into a relationship with Pete Davidson, as Megan Fox almost stopped it from happening. 

Ever since the world got a whiff of Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson's romance, the only thing that was on everybody's minds was 'how?' Though Kim Kardashian kept her relationship with the 'Saturday Night Live' alum under the wraps for as long as she could, the reality star finally opened up about the details of their relationship on the recently aired episode of 'The Kardashians'. 

The beauty mogul revealed how it all began when she kissed Pete while she was hosting 'SNL' in October 2021. She shared, "I did SNL and then when we kissed in-scene, it was just a vibe. I was like 'Oh s**t maybe I've been...maybe I just need to try something different.' But Pete does not come to my after-party. Everyone was at my after-party. He does not give me the time of day." "A few days later, I called the producer at SNL and I was like "Hey do you have Pete's number? They were like 'Yeah' and I text him. I wasn't even thinking like 'Oh my god I'm gonna be in a relationship with him.' I was just thinking...I heard about this BDE. I need to get out there. I need to just, like, jump start my...I was just basically DTF," she admitted. But as it turns out Pete wasn't acting aloof or ignoring her. He reportedly tried getting his hands on 'The Kardashians' star's phone number months prior to her hosting 'SNL'.

Kim continued in her confessional about how Megan Fox almost came in the way of the couple. Apparently, after Pete and Kim made their relationship official, Megan texted Kim and asked if she was serious about Pete. "Is this s**t for real? Because he asked me for your number months ago, and I was like, ‘Dude, you have a better shot of me and MGK getting eaten by crocodiles than you ever getting her number. Never gonna happen. Do not ask us.’”

'The Kardashians' fans were amused after learning that Megan declared that Pete had no chance with Kim. A fan tweeted, "Pete really reached out to megan fox to get kim's number and megan said it was never gonna happen well look where we're at now! #TheKardashians." "Not Megan Fox telling Pete he didn’t have a shot #TheKardashians," wrote a fan.
